New TEKS Standards
In preparation for the implementation of the revised Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) in Fall 2011, staff have been busy identifying resources that will assist in teaching the new standards. At present all items on the site are correlated to the current standards which go into effect in the Fall of 2011. To aid in understanding the differences between the current and new standards, communicating the new standards, and preparing for them; a variety of resources are located on the Texas State Historical Association's web site in the Teacher Resources section.
